The International Zinc Association-Europe (IZA-Europe) promotes the benefits of zinc in Europe.

In 2008 2.2 million tones of zinc were produced in Europe. European zinc operations include: Nyrstar, KCM, OCK, Boliden, Xstrata, Glencore, Boleslaw, Miastecko, Kopcamica.
